Some of the signs of ear mites in dogs include constant scratching of the ears, excessive shaking of head, unpleasant odor in the ear, discharge of a dark coffee brown colored waxy liquid, increased amount of ear wax, inflammation of the ear canal, imbalance of the head and inability to keep it in a straight position for a long time, vomiting, loss of appetite, ear sores and redness of the skin.
