The welcoming signs of spring -- the blooming flowers, chirping birds and hatching sand fleas. Oops! The fleas! Well, these are those small little nuisance creators who seem to be inviting themselves everywhere without being called and like to extend their stay and bring in more. You would be watching these nuisance creators roaming fearlessly around every corner of your house but once they enter your bed it naturally becomes shameful. Want to seriously get rid of these then follow these instructions. |

Take out your linens and blankets from the bed and clean them using ample soap and water. Get an aerosol pesticide that is safe to use, and use it liberally on all the mattresses and all those furniture where you suspect that sand fleas must be hiding. This procedure should be repeated until all the fleas are no longer seen.
You may also use Seven Dust Pesticide powder and sprinkle it in your gardens, lawns and other places of your home. This is available in any departmental store and is considered to be the safest pesticide for humans and animals except for fleas. This powder can also be sprinkled over the fur of your pets.
Carpet is one area where the fleas love to lay and hatch their eggs. So, your next target should be the carpets. Clean them thoroughly with a vacuum cleaner. Alternatively, you may sprinkle the Seven Dust Powder, and let it stand for three to eight hours. Within this time the fleas die and they can then be removed by vacuuming the carpet.
