There are three steps which will help you in getting rid from those unwanted fleas.

Treating The Pets - Fleas favorite place to live are the pets such as dogs and cats. So, your first target would be treating your own pets. There are several flea treatment medicines available either at your vet's clinic or any pet shop. These medicines can be also purchased online. They are usually available in suitable pack sizes that are easy to apply on the pets. You must use this treatment pack repeatedly unless you are completely free from the fleas due to pets.

Indoor Control - Areas inside the house such as living rooms, dining hall and rest other rooms needs to be vacuumed regularly to keep them clean. Sometimes, adult fleas drop eggs at various places giving rise to millions of other fleas, and, therefore, just like treating the pets, it is necessary to keep the interiors free from fleas by keeping the area clean. For this you need to wash the carpets regularly and use flea spray for treating the furniture. In case your house is infested with large amounts of flea, then you may require the use of flea bombs or foggers.

Outdoor Control - Many of the home owners often neglect the outdoor areas of the house, such as lawns, gardens and the garage. Lawns and gardens are the places which are often visited by the birds and other small creatures. Therefore, while treating these places, one must ensure that these harmful and poisonous chemicals are not used. Otherwise they may harm these creatures causing problems to the environment and the surrounding.
