The beagle breed is in existence for a long time. But the origins are not known. These type dogs are known to be in existence from 400 B.C in Greece and 200 A.D in Britain. It is believed that the Romans took these dogs with them when they went to England.
Basenjis are also known by other names such as African Bush Dog or Barkless Dog. One of the purest and most ancient breeds that originated in the African continent, Basenjis are peculiar looking, athletic and elegant dogs with a silky lustrous coat and patched chest, feet and tail.
